  2. We feel a greater need for conservation as,we are facing lot of risk than our ancestors. Nowadays we are wasting so much of resources than our ancestors. For example : water. We are wasting water in so many ways such as leaving running taps without closing it. Natural resources are slowly vanishing by means of people who abuse it because they do not know the limitations of it. Abusing it can cause food shortage and also cause global warming. We need to conserve resources because it is the main source of our daily needs. Remember the 3 R's- reduce, reuse and recycle. Once it would be totally vanished our life would come to an end.

  3. we need to conserve our resources because while we are using them for our needs we are simultaneously wasting them too, our ancestors had lot more of resources as they did not need more of it but as the generations passed by the population increased and more resources are being required. so conserving them will not only benefit us but the future generations will have sufficient amount to . thus we need to conserve resources more and not misuse them.

  4. The need of conservation of our natural resources is far more than what our ancestors needed. There are many contributing factors if which I'll be mentioning only 2.
Firstly, the population on earth has become more than 7 billion which has obviously increased the demand of resources. This can lead to large scale depletion making human life on earth difficult. This can only be prevented by proper usage of our resources, by adopting conservative methods to use them.
Second being pollution, is a major factor too. Irresponsible usage of our resources has led to widespread pollution. Therefore proper using our resources in a conserved manner will help bring down pollution.
All these will help our earth make a better place to live in.

  5. The need to conserve has increased many folds today. Increased & over-utilization of natural resources is the main cause why we must involve in conserving nature around us. Our resources are getting depleted at an alarming rate primarily due to misuse & at time unplanned use by humans for their habitation and industrial requirements (e.g. deforestation to make way for newer cities, un-controlled use of fresh water by industries, nil waste management, un-controlled mining of ores and minerals etc.). All these are leading us to an Earth which is trying harder each day to sustain. Our eco system needs be maintained for a safer tomorrow. What if the oxygen we breath disappears? What if the fresh water for human consumption goes away? What if the land gets drowned in increased levels of seawater (global warming is leading to increased shorelines all over the world). Please conserve and encourage people around you to give it a thought and act NOW!

  6. We feel the need for conservation more than our ancestors, yes that's true. Compared to the past, today the population is very huge and this huge population uses a lot of natural resources. They are essential for us, but we often end up misusing or using them carelessly. We often waste natural resources, like water, but in some cases, science has advanced enough to make good use of sunlight in solar panels. This may sound good, but as the population keeps increasing, so does our need for resources and we need to be innovative in finding new resources.

  7. i feel there is a great necessity to conserve our resources in our day to day lives as we simultaneously waste them. we waste more resources than our ancestors did. during the period of our ancestors the population was very small.so gradually they used less amount of resources they kept the resources for their future generations.we waste all the resources which results in the shortage of the resources. to avoid global warming and shortage of resources we must save it. we must keep these resources for our future generations like our ancestors did. we are the one's who should take initiative to conserve these resources.

  8. Nowadays, natural resources are exhausting faster than in the period of our ancestors. There are many factors due to which these resources are getting depleted . Deforestation, pollution, increase in population, over consumption and natural calamities like tsunami and earthquakes are some factors which cause depletion of natural resources. We are facing many adverse affects due to risk of exhaustion of natural resources. Therefore, we feel a greater need for conservation of resources than our ancestors did.

  9. I feel that the need for conservation is more as we use these resources more than the ancestors which leads to the shortage of these resources . During our ancestors’ time the population was very less but , if you compare the population today , you will see that we have a very huge population. The average resources consumed per person have increased considerably . We must save this for our future because we are responsible for the conservation of these resources .

  10. Now days, our population increases day by day.As we are getting a thought of conservation more than our ancestors. As mechanical devices are coming up these days, they consume the nature for fulfilling our daily needs.Today we are depending on nature as we also need to conserve it by closing running taps, saving electricity etc.As compared to our ancestors, they use nature in quantities they need. Therefore, giving us result of ,the ancestors conserveing the nature where we destroy it.In which we will have no longer pure water to use nor any forest left in this world. So,if we put our hands together I am sure we will turn this world into a green fresh world.

  12. We feel a greater need for conservation as, we are facing a lot of adverse effects our ancestors. Resources are very helpful without them we would still be living like the stone age. We should conserve it so as that the people in the future can also use it. Those days we had less population, more trees, more lakes, more space between homes for living. But today, there are more people than trees in many cities. We are the ones destroying it, so we should be the ones to conserve it .............

  13. Resources are features of environment that are important and value to human in one form or the other. Our ancestors had a lot of resources as the consumption was less. However, the advancement of modern population has a great impact on the natural resources. The population of human beings has grown enormously in the past two centuries and so is the usage of the resources. People often waste natural resources. Forests are cleared for construction of factories and malls; fertile soil is exhausted due to erosion because of poor farming practices. Fuel supplies are depleted. Water and air are polluted.

If resources are carelessly managed, many will be used up. If used wisely and efficiently it will last much longer. So conserve it before their extinction.

  14. We feel a greater need for conservation as; we are facing a lot of adverse effects because the mineral resources nowadays are exhausting much faster than in the period of ancestors due to many factors such as over-utilization, mis-utilization, pollution, industrialization and the greatest factor is that of the growing population.
A large population means that more and more resources will get depleted at a rapid rate speed. Over utilization of resources has led to the global ecological crisis such as global warming, depletion of ozone layer etc...
The rising demand of various resources has led to the depletion of many valuable resources.
During our ancestral period there were en-number of resources available and they used to use it wisely. During their time there were no industries or buildings and they used to move from place to place in order to search for resources unlike our modern generation who stick to one place and mis-utilize these valuable resources.
Hence, I feel that we should follow sustainable development i.e. development should take place without damaging the environment.
The future of our planet and its people lie in our hands and therefore it's our duty to save these resources and use it wisely.

  15. We feel a greater need for conservation as we are facing a lot of adverse effects and risk of resource exhaustion than our ancestors. The reasons for the need of conservation are two fold-
    1) While our resources are fixed,we have great many people roaming around the planet whose wants and needs are to be satisfied.
    2) The rapid increase in the standard of living i.e. quality and quantity of stuff consumed to provide food, clothing and shelter for 7 billion people requires increasing amount of natural resources.
Hence, we need to conserve our natural resources more for the generations to come than our ancestors did.

The natural resources of earth include natural gas, fossil fuels, metals, timber, trees, water, coal etc . Let us take a deeper look into FOSSIL FUELS. Fossil fuels are natural source of energy formed from the remains of decomposed plants and animals that lived hundreds of millions of years ago . The fuels are buried within the earth and harvested by humans for power. Daimler and Benz invented the first gasoline powered automobile in 1885.The number of automobiles grew rapidly from 253,776 in 1960 to 2,030,522 automobiles in 2010,creating huge demand for fossil fuels.Fossil fuels are nonrenewable resources. About 1 trillion barrels of crude petroleum oil were left in earth as of 2002.If people continue to use oil at the current rate, oil will run out by 2043.Using modern technologies we need to use the natural resources wisely for conserving natural resources for the coming generations .Otherwise "My father rode a cart ,I drive a car,my son flies a plane, his son will again ride a cart.

  18. The lives of our ancestors were simple. Their needs were limited and hence used lesser quantities / amounts of the natural resources than we need today. Therefore they had lesser negative impact on the natural resources. Today on account of industrialization & technological advancement modern man's life has become more comfortable & convienent. This has led to increase in consumption of natural resources such as fossil fuel, land, water, minerals, forest, etc. The increase in this utilization has led to quicker depletion of the natural resources in the recent times than ever before. Forests are cleared for new buildings, malls, industies, roads, etc. Also there has been rapid increase in population which further puts more stress and strain on the already scarce and limited natural resources. Our modern life has increased requirement of fosil fuel, electricity, water, air, etc. With such rapid exploitation of our natural resource which are already limited, the day is not far when our future generations will be deprived of the same. There will be global warming and natural calamities which will put the existance of living beings at stake.

Hence today it is our duty to conserve the natural resource for our future generation. Therefore this enhances our responsibility for enhanced conservation more today than our ancestors did.
